Privacy Policy

Studio Intake is a private, single-user productivity tool operated by John Lloyd Fillingham for use with his own Google account.

Google data accessed

Studio Intake uses read-only access to Gmail and Google Drive.

Gmail access is used to detect changes to the operator’s inbox and, when required, retrieve information needed for private Studio administration.

Google Drive access is used to detect changes to files and documents associated with the operator’s Studio work.

The application does not use these permissions to send email, delete or alter email, change Gmail labels, or modify Google Drive files.

How data is used

Google user data is used solely for the operator’s private business administration and workflow automation.

Google Cloud Pub/Sub may be used within the operator’s own Google Cloud project to notify the local Studio Intake system that a Gmail change has occurred.

The current Studio Intake transport system does not use Google user data for advertising, profiling, sale or marketing.

Data storage

Studio Intake is designed to minimise stored Google user data.

Its local event-processing system stores only limited operational metadata required for reliable processing, such as timestamps, Gmail history identifiers and cryptographic hashes used to prevent duplicate processing.

Email sender names, subjects, message bodies, snippets and raw message identifiers are not retained in the transport event ledger.

Authentication credentials are stored in protected local credential storage on the operator’s own computer.

Sharing

Google user data is not sold.

Studio Intake is a private single-user system and does not provide Google user data to other users.

Data is processed only through services necessary to operate the private application, including Google APIs and the operator’s own Google Cloud resources.

AI systems

The current Studio Intake transport service does not send Gmail or Google Drive content to an AI model merely to monitor for changes.

Any future use of Google user data by additional automated or AI-assisted Studio functions will require this policy to be reviewed and updated before that functionality is put into production.

Access and control

The operator may revoke the application’s Google account access through Google account security settings.

Local Studio Intake services can also be stopped and their credentials removed.
